Dice onion. In a skillet, add diced onion cook until transparent. Add ground beef, cook until browned.

After ground beef and onion is cooked, drain grease.

Add beef mixture back into skillet. Add tomato soup and half a can of milk or water. Stir well. Cook until bubbly.

Add thinly sliced sharp cheddar cheese. Let cheese melt, then stir well.

Serve open faced on bread or hamburger buns.

This recipe is for 3 to 4 people. It can be made for bigger family. Just double. I make this with 5 lbs of meat, 1 family size can of tomato soup and one 14 oz can of soup and 8 oz of cheese. Also you can use any cheese you would like.
