Chana dal & palak vada is a crispy deep fried fritter made with Coarse paste of soaked chana dal mix with onions, ginger, Spinach leaves & spices make this flavourful. U can enjoy it with tea as an evng snack or when guests at ur home.

Chana dal & palak vada is a crispy deep fried fritter made with Coarse paste of soaked chana dal mix with onions, ginger, Spinach leaves & spices make this flavourful. U can enjoy it with tea as an evng snack or when guests at ur home.

Clean, wash and soak chana dal in water for 2 hours.

After two hours drain the water.

Blend 1/3 chana dal in a mixer to a coarse dal without using water. 1/4 dal roughly crushed.

Add dal in a bowl.

Add ginger paste, Chopped onions, coriander leaves, asafoetida, green chilli and salt and pepper in it. Mix properly.

Heat oil in a pan.

Divide the mixture in to equal portions & round them.
8. Press these balls between ur palm. - 8
Deep fry the vadas on medium flame, till they become golden and crispy.

Drain out on absorbent paper and serve hot green chutney or tomato sauce.
