Ingredients

  1. 250 gmHara pyaaz
  2. 250 gmhara lehsan
  3. 1 bowlmung dal(katori fixed for everday dal proportion)
  4. 2green chillies
  5. 2 tsp lal mirch
  6. as per tasteSalt
  7. 1 tsp jeera
  8. 1 tsp haldi
  9. 1tomato
  10. as neededOil for tadaka

Steps

  1. 1

    Take mung dal, wash nicely and soak it for 15/20 minutes minimum.

  2. 2

    Take flat bottom cooker, add oil, once hot add jeera,it sputters add finely chopped hara pyaaz and lehsan.

  3. 3

    Let it cook for 2/3 minutes. Add tomatoes, salt, lal mirch powder, haldi powder and mix well.

  4. 4

    Add dal to it and close the cooker. Allow 1 whistle on medium flame as mung dal cooks fast.

  5. 5

    Mung dal is ready to serve
