My daughter is only 2 years old, so I can't relax and enjoy a quiet drink at Starbucks. So, I decided to enjoy a drink at home while she has her afternoon nap.I've been to Starbucks many times, so I figured out what goes into each drink. After trial and error, I finally arrived at the perfect, authentic taste!Make sure you let the coffee cool completely before mixing it in. The ice will melt if it's still warm. Starbucks-style Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino Starbucks-style Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino
I asked a Starbucks employee for the ingredients, and then I tried throwing it all together in a blender. It's healthier when made with soy milk.If you blend milk, sugar and and some other ingredients of your own choosing and top with whipped cream, you can make your own original Starbucks frappuccino. The Starbucks employee told me that they make theirs with milk, sugar, matcha powder (from Kyoto), and vanilla syrup. They sell vanilla syrup at Starbucks, so perhaps you could buy that? I used just 1 teaspoon of the instant coffee because it was a dark roast and I don't like a real stong coffee taste. I also used one package of sweet-n-low cuz (according to my daughter) I'm soft! lol! But it tasted just like Starbucks! Brenda
