Ingredients

1 hour 15 mins
6 servings
  • 800 mlcold water
  • 1veg cube I used knorr
  • 577 gramsor there a bouts celeriac peeled & cubed
  • 513 gramsor there a bouts courgettes quartered
  • 87 gramsor there a bouts red onion peeled & diced
  • 122 gramsor there a bouts carrots peeled & sliced small
  • 86 gramsor there a bouts celery diced
  • 1 dashblack pepper
  • 1 dashred cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsponion granules/powder
  • 1/4 tspgarlic powder

Steps

1 hour 15 mins

    Add all veg to the pan. I used an 8 in 1

    Pour on water

    Crumble stock cube, sprinkle on spices

    Give it a good stir, pop on lid, medium heat...I set it on 140°. Leave for about 30 minutes.

    When vegs are soft, turn off heat & let it cool for 5-10 minutes, then blend with a stick blender.

    Divide into bowls..I got 6 at 350ml....

    Serve or Cool, lid & keep in fridge. Should last for up to 7 days. Irmgards

Why is this called "Dutch soup"? I ask because i'm Dutch myself! Those veggies are to buy everywhere arround the world, so i don't understand Dutch. And cos i'm curious of course. I hope you've an answer for me. I love a good laugh. 😉🤔👍🏻🍀🇱🇺👋🏻
