Mix cake mix and gelatin together in a bowl. Add the vegetable oil and water and mix together until the batter is smooth. Slowly add the eggs one at a time and blend. Add frozen strawberries and mix. Pour cake batter into a 9x13 inch pan. Be sure to spray pan with non stick cooking spray before adding batter. Bake for about an hour at 325.

For the glaze add stick of butter to saucepan along with the frozen strawberries (they can be partially or all the way thawed). Add the vanilla and bring to a rolling boil and then turn down to low. Slowly whisk in the confectioner sugar (be sure to use all of the sugar). Once sugar has been added whisk slowly for 2 minutes. Poke holes in the cake and pour glaze over cake.
