Sift flour and salt

Cut in butter, shortening

Blend in beaten eggs, sour cream, vanilla and softened yeast.

Mix well. Cover & chill at least 2 hours.

Mix sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Sprinkle board with 1/2 cup sugar mixture. Roll out 1/2 dough in a 16" x 8" rectangle. Sprinkle with 1T sugar mix. Fold 1 end of dough over center, fold opposite end over to make 3 layers. Turn 1/4 around & repeat rolling & folding 2 more times. Sprinkle board with sugar, if necessary. Roll about 1/4" thick and cut in 4" x 1" strips. Twist each strip and place on un greased cookie sheet. Bake @ 375 for 15 minutes.
