Ingredients

Dry ingredients
1/4 tspmace
1 1/3 cupflour
1/2 tspsalt
1/4 tspcinnamon
1/4 tspcloves
Wet ingredients
1egg
1/3 cupwarm water
2 tspbaking soda
1/2 cupmolasses
2 cupcranberries
Sauce
1/3 cupbutter
3/4 cupWhite sugar
1 pintscream
1 tspvanilla

Steps

Put all dry ingredients in bowl except soda.

Combine beaten egg and water.

Add soda to molasses and it will foam.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.

Beat well.

Fold in cranberries.

Pour into pudding mold.

Place on rack in Stock pot.

Steam for 2 hours.

Combine sauce ingredients in pot and heat.
