Ingredients

  1. Vegetables
  2. 16 cupsmall pickling cucumbers sliced thin
  3. 6onions peeled and sliced
  4. 2Red peppers chopped
  5. 1/3 cupcoarse salt
  6. Sauce
  7. 3 cupvinegar
  8. 5 cupWhite sugar
  9. 1 1/2 tspturmeric
  10. 1 tspcelery seed
  11. 1 tspmustard seed

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix vegetables together with salt.

  2. 2

    Cover with ice and refrigerate for 3 hours.

  3. 3

    Combine dry ingredients in pot.

  4. 4

    Add vinegar.

  5. 5

    Bring mixture to a boil.

  6. 6

    Add drained vegetables.

  7. 7

    Bring to a boil.

  8. 8

    Add to hot mason jars and seal.
