Marinated Salad Marinated Salad
My Moma’n love, loved this salad at one of our local cafeteria style restaurants, when she developed diabetes, she’d still eat it and it would drive her sugar sky high. So, I, being the bestest daughter’n love, started making it for her without the “sugar driver upper”.I took this salad to a church social and it got rave reviews.Hope y’all like it too! Marinated chicken Marinated chicken
Will also work well with beef pork and lamb. In this recipe I am going to roast it in the oven due to the weather but it is also great on the grill. If grilling make sure to keep an eye on them because they will burn do to the sugar content and that goes for anything with sugar in it. INSANExBUTCHER -

Marinated Mushrooms Marinated Mushrooms
I got some requests for easier ways to make big batches of cooked vegetables to use in other dishes, so I came up with this. It's really convenient to buy lots of mushrooms and marinate them since you'll have them on hand.Of course, these are good in pasta or salads. They're really good for kenchin soups or simmered dishes too!Remove the stems from the mushrooms, and pull them apart without washing them. If you wash them, they'll get soggy. If they're dirty, you can lightly wipe them off with a paper towel. Feel free to use olive oil instead of vegetable oil, if that's what you'd prefer. The dish will turn out delicious either way. Please adjust the amount of pepper to taste. Recipe by Hokutokinoko cookpad.japan -

I keep this flavored butter in the freezer at all times. It's there for a quick sauce for vegetables. It is delicious on fish and as a finishing touch on meats. Just slice the amount you need and keep the rest frozen for another time. fenway -

Marinated Olives Marinated Olives
Olives in brine are great for you to add other flavours. Great addition for a party. I normally buy them and add other bits to them and let them sit for a while to absorb the other flavours. If your not a big citrus fan do reduce the amount to half. Rae
