Maple and Pecan Tilapia

Ingredients

  1. 3 tbspfinely chopped pecans
  2. 3 tbspliquid honey
  3. 2 tbspmaple syrup
  4. 2 tbspbutter
  5. 3 tbspfresh chopped parsley (garnish)
  6. 46 oz. portions tilapia

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 425oF.

    Spray a nonstick baking pan with cooking oil or line with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Place the pecans in a nonstick frying pan and toast over medium-high heat for 3 minutes or until golden and fragrant.

    Stir in the honey, maple syrup and butter. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 3 minutes or until slighty thickened.

    Pour 1/2 the sauce over the tilapia on the baking pan.

  6. 6

    Bake the tilapia, cooking for 10 minutes per inch thickness of the fish or until the fish flakes easily when pierced with a fork.

    Reheat the remaining sauce and serve wtih the fish. Garnish with parsley.
