Ingredients

  • 1 lbMild Italian sausage
  • 1 packagesReal bacon bits or fresh bacon
  • 2 largeRusset potatoes
  • 2 cupKale
  • 1 bunchLeeks finely sliced
  • 8 ozHeavy whipping cream
  • 2 cupChicken stock
  • 2 cupWater
  • 1Basil, salt, pepper, adobo to taste
  • 1/2 cupDitalini pasta
  • 1 stickSalted butter

  1. 1

    Cook sausage and bacon (if not using bacon bits) - add to crockpot
    Cube potatoes and add to crockpot
    Add leeks, water, chicken broth- cook 4-6 hours
    Add heavy whipping cream, spices, butter, kale, ditalini 1 hour before serving
