Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 cupFlour
  2. 1/2 tspBaking powder
  3. 1/2 tspSalt
  4. 1/3 cupHershey's Coco Powder
  5. 1 1/4 cupSugar
  6. 1 largeEgg
  7. 1/2 cupMilk
  8. 1 1/2 tspVanilla
  9. 1/3 cupShortening melted
  10. 1 cupButter melted
  11. 2 cupOats
  12. 1You can add raisins, walnuts or anything else to the batter if desired for variety

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl on high for 8-10 minutes

  2. 2

    Grease baking sheet and use small spoon to place medium lumps of batter on the baking sheet allowing about 1 inch all around lump

  3. 3

    Bake @ 350 for 15-20 minutes before removing and allowing to cool
