Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cupFlour
  • 1/2 tspBaking powder
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1/3 cupHershey's Coco Powder
  • 1 1/4 cupSugar
  • 1 largeEgg
  • 1/2 cupMilk
  • 1 1/2 tspVanilla
  • 1/3 cupShortening melted
  • 1 cupButter melted
  • 2 cupOats
  • 1You can add raisins, walnuts or anything else to the batter if desired for variety

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl on high for 8-10 minutes

  2. 2

    Grease baking sheet and use small spoon to place medium lumps of batter on the baking sheet allowing about 1 inch all around lump

  3. 3

    Bake @ 350 for 15-20 minutes before removing and allowing to cool
