Rice Pudding in a Multicooker
This recipe is a classic for Easter, and we always have it at home during this time of year (and sometimes at other times too, haha).
Steps
- 1
Rinse the rice with water about four times. Then add the rice, cold water, lemon peel, and the cinnamon stick (broken in half) to the rice program of your multicooker. It will take about 24 minutes; stir the rice about twice during cooking.
- 2
Beat the egg with the heavy cream and milk. Pour this mixture into the rice, add the sugar, and cook for 4 minutes on the steam program with the lid open, stirring constantly. If it looks a bit dry, add a little more milk.
- 3
Spoon the pudding into bowls and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. It's ready to serve!
