Steps

Soak the daal for at least one hour and then pressure cook it till it is soft but not mushy.

Heat a kadhai add oil and temper the dry red chilli,jeeta seeds and bay leaf

Now add ginger paste saute adding salt and turmeric powder
- 4
Mix the jeeta dhaniya powder and red chilli Powder,mix well.

Now pour the Boiled daal and and allow it to boil
- 6
Finally add garam masala powder and sugar,mix well and switch off the oven
- 7
Chana daal is ready to serve
