Ingredients

  1. 1 kghalf ripe Totapuri Mangoes
  2. 1/2 kgsugar
  3. 2big brown cardamom
  4. 5small green cardamom
  5. 2 inchescinnamon stick
  6. 10-15black pepper
  7. ,2-3bay leaves
  8. 150 mlwater
  9. as per tasteSalt and turmeric

Steps

  1. 1

    Keep the water and sugar to boil in a kadhai

    Coarsely grind the whole spices except the bay leaves

    Cut the mangoes into small cubes and put dein in the boiling syrup

    Keep on stirring occasionally til the syrup and mangoes reach to the required consistency ie one string

    Add the salt turmeric (optional) and the ground spices and bay leaves

    Keep stirring occasionally til the murabba reaches required consistency and off the gas

    Let it cool down and store it in glass jars in the fridge
