Heath enough salt water to cover potatoes (half a teaspoon salt to 1 cup water) to boiling add potatoes

cover and heat to boiling cook until tender (about 30 to 35 minutes) then drain

slip off skins and cut crosswise into half an inch slices

mix brown sugar butter water and salt in to 8 inch skillet

cook over medium heat stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly

add sweet potato slices stir gently until glazed and heat thoroughly
