20 minutes
3-4 servings
  • 4sweet potatoes
  • 4arrowroots
  • 2eggs
  • 1 cupflour
  • as needed oil for frying

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil sweet potatoes together with arrowroots

  2. 2

    Peel them and cut into wedges

    Prepare egg and flour

    Dip the wedges in egg then in flour

    Deep fry till golden brown

    Garnish with beetroot and serve with a glass of cold tamarind juice (homemade)
