This is also my own invention to make tomato pickle in a jiffy when unexpected guests arrived and pickles were out of stock ....
Steps

Roast til in a WOK without oil. Powder it.

Mix two cups of roasted til powder, one cup of chilli powder, 3/4 cup of salt, 1.5 teaspoon of roasted rai methi powder

Chop three big tomatoes
- 4
Add 3/4 measure of mixed masala for one measure of tomato peices
- 5
Add lemon juice quarter the amount of tomato
- 6
Now the tadka : Heat half cup of ground nut oil add mustard, jeera,methi, crushed garlic and turmeric add to the pickle
- 7
Add half cup of raw ground nut oil to the pickle. Mix and serve.
