2 3/4 cupall-purpose flour
1 1/2 cupwhite sugar
1 tspbaking soda
1egg
1/2 tspbaking powder
2 tspvanilla extract
1 cupvery very soft butter

preheat 375°F, in a small bowl stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder

in a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth, beat in egg and vanilla, gradually add dry ingredients
