  2. 1 1/2 tspdry oregano
  3. 1 tspchili powder
  4. 3/4 tspsalt
  5. 1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper
  6. 220 ounce bone-in shell steaks about 1 1/2 inches thick
  7. 1 clovegarlic halved

    In a small bowl, stir together the mustard powder, oregano,chili powder, salt,and pepper.

    Rub each of the steaks with the cut sides of the garlic halves, pressing the garlic hard into the bone to get the garlic juices flowing.
