Rub each of the steaks with the cut sides of the garlic halves, pressing the garlic hard into the bone to get the garlic juices flowing.

Let steaks rest at room temperature while you prepare the grill or cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Bring threa

Pat the spice mixture all over the steaks.

Let steaks rest at room temperature while you prepare the grill and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Bring the meat to room temperature before grilling.

Prepare the grill for medium direct heat. Grill the steaks for 6 to7 minutes per side for medium rare. Transfer steaks to a cutting board and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
