Ingredients

  • 1 lbGround Beef
  • 1 cupChopped onion
  • 1 cloveGarlic; finely chopped
  • 2 canRotel mild diced tomatoes; undrained
  • 1 canTomato sauce; 8oz.
  • 1 tbspChili powder
  • 3/4 tspGround cumin
  • 1 tspSalt
  • 1 tspPepper
  • 1 canBlack beans;15-16oz.
  • 1 canSweet corn

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a large pot until meat is brown.

  2. 2

    Stir in remaining ingredient EXCEPT BEANS and CORN.

  3. 3

    Bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to low.

  4. 4

    Cover and simmer for one hour stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Stir in beans and corn.

  6. 6

    Bring to a boil. Reduce hear to low.

  7. 7

    Simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally until desired thickness.
