Ingredients

  1. 2 lbCoarsly ground beef
  2. 6 clove–12 garlic, chopped
  3. 2 largeonions, Coarsly chopped
  4. 212 oz bottles dark beer
  5. 32 ozCan tomatoes with juice
  6. 16 ozCan kidney beans with juice
  7. 16 ozCan great northern or white beans with juice
  8. 16 ozCan pinto beans with juice. Just need total of 3 cans beans with juice
  9. 6 tbspGround ancho chili powder
  10. 2 tbspGround cumin
  11. 1 tbspGround black pepper
  12. Salt and black pepper to taste
  13. Red pepper sauce to taste
  14. Olive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Sauté garlic cloves no onions. Add ground beef and sauté. When done, remove from skillet or Dutch oven and deglaze with one bottle dark beer. Add meat mixture back in.

  2. 2

    Add all ingredients from canned tomatoes to black pepper. Simmer for about three hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Season to taste with salt , ground black pepper, and red pepper sauce if desired. Serve with corn bread. Top with diced onions.
