for the batter mix all ingredients together adding only enough beer to make the batter very thick so that out coats the fruit well

core and slice desired fruit, apples, bananas, pineapple...you get the idea. Slices should be about1/4 inch thick.

heat oil in a pan to about 390° a 1/4-1/2 In of oil is more than plenty.

coat fruit in batter and fry on both sides until golden brown, batter should be light and fluffy when cooked!

serve with whipped cream or ice cream and sprinkle with powder sugar...yum!
