Ingredients

35 minutes
5-6 servings
  1. 1 cupRoughly chopped beetroot
  2. 1/2 tspfennel seeds
  3. 1/2 inchginger chopped
  4. 2 cupwheat flour
  5. 2 tbsprawa (sooji)
  6. 1 tspoil
  7. 2-3 tbspwater
  8. Oil for frying
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. (For spinach dough):--
  11. 1 1/2 cupwheat flour
  12. 1 cupspinach paste
  13. 2-3Green chillies chopped
  14. 1/2 tspfennel seeds
  15. to tasteSalt

Steps

35 minutes
  1. 1

    (Beetroot dough) Rinse, peel and chopped beetroot add all the ingredient in a grinder grind smooth paste.

  2. 2

    Pour in a bowl,add Rawa and flour, oil salt, water mix and knead a soft smooth dough. Rest for 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    (Spinach dough) Wash the spinach leaves. Then put the spinach, green chilli in a mixer to form a smooth green paste.

  4. 4

    Pour in a bowl add salt flour mix well knead a dough. (If required u can add lil water)

  5. 5

    Divide a dough into small balls and flatten it using rolling pin.

  6. 6

    Now heat oil in a pan/ kadhai.

  7. 7

    Deep fry the poories

  8. 8

    Serve hot with aalu subzi or boondi Raita.
