Ingredients

1.5 hrs
4persons
  • 500gmGreen Gram(HareChanne)washed and grinded into a paste
  • 500gmPure Ghee
  • 250gmMix Nuts(Almonds,Cashew,Walnut:crushed into small pcs)
  • 1ltr Full Cream Milk
  • 800gm Sugar
  • 10-12 Green Cardamom(grinded into a fine powder)

Steps

1.5 hrs
  1. 1

    Take a non-stick pan heat ghee on a medium flame as the ghee melts add grinded green gram paste and saute it till it starts leaving ghee.

    Now add milk and cardamom powder, stir it till all the milk is absorbed and again it starts leaving ghee.

    Time to add nuts and cook till all the nuts are well cooked stir it continuously. A wonderful aroma will fill the area to indicate that the royal recipe is in process.

    Now add sugar and low the flame till all the sugar melts and get absorbed in halwa...the royal authentic flavor of Bhopal.

  5. 5

    Keep it to cool down and check the consistency required, leave it a step before a required consistency.

  6. 6

    Garnish it with dry fruits and serve it pinning hot and relish the melting taste in your mouth
