Ingredients

I hour
8 servings
  1. 6garlic cloves minced
  2. 2red onions minced
  3. 30Roma tomatoes sliced into thirds
  4. 2 cansfat free chicken broth
  5. 1 1/2 tspbalsamic vinegar
  6. 1 1/2 tspred pepper flakes
  7. 4 tspsalt
  8. 1 1/2 tsppepper
  9. 5 tbspdried basil
  10. 3 tbspolive oil

Steps

I hour
  1. 1

    Sautee garlic and onions in olive oil for 15 to 20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add tomatoes and cook for another 20 to 25 munutes. Cover.

  3. 3

    Add chicken broth, balsamic vinegar, pepper flakes, salt, pepper and basil.

  4. 4

    Stir over low heat and cook for 15 minutes.

  5. 5

    Using a hand blender, blend all ingredients together. Once blended, cook for another 10 minutes.

  6. 6

    Add more salt for flavor if needed.
