This recipe is widely prepared in every Bengali household.
Steps

Peel off the parwals roughly
- 2
Add oil in to a heated pan add saute the parwal adding salt and turmeric powder
- 3
Cover it and stir occasionally removing the cover
- 4
As the parwals get soft add the poppy seeds and chilli paste and mix adding little water so that it gets combine well
- 5
Finally add sugar and green chillies
- 6
Potol posto is ready to be served
