Ingredients

  1. 500 gBesan (Chana Flour)
  2. 750 gSugar
  3. 1/2 CupGhee
  4. Oil or Ghee for frying
  5. 2 pinchesSaffron
  6. Chopped Badam and Pista
  7. 1/2 tbspElaichi Powder
  8. 2 pinchesOrange or Yellow Food Colour

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare a batter of chana flour and add orange food colour.Then add 1-2 tsp ghee to the dough.Beat the batter to a medium thickness.
    Now the batter is ready!

    Now,make s sugar syrup by adding sugar to water and heating it.Add saffaron (kesar) to it.Make the sugar syrup thick.
    Keep it aside and let it cool for about 10 minutes and when got use it it should be lukewarm.

    Heat the oil to a medium heat.Take a jaro with small holes and spread the batter over it.Try to hold the jaro on top of the oil.Let the bundi fry and then remove it and put it straight away in the sugar syrup.Then keep it in it for about two minutes.Then let the sugar syrup drain away and remove your bundi.Add one spoon ghee and elaichi powder and other almonds and badam.Mix well,keep on repeating this process and keep on mixing.At the end put the remaining ghee.And thats it!Now your Yummy Bundi

    You can make Bundi Ladoo from it aswell as Fresh Cream desserts and also use it alongside Pies.
