Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 cupssprouted moong (green grams)
  • 1small onion, finely diced
  • 8-10cherry tomatoes (sliced) or use 1 big tomato finely chopped
  • 1medium cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 1medium potato, boiled, peeled and diced
  • 1/3 cupchopped pineapple
  • 2 tbspchopped fresh coriander
  • 2 tbspchopped fresh mint
  • 1 tspchaat masala powder or curry powder
  • 1/2 tspchilli flakes
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 1/2 tspHimalayan pink salt or normal salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Steam the bean sprouts for 4-5 minutes. They should not be overcooked.

  2. 2

    Let the bean sprouts cool down a bit.

  3. 3

    Add all the ingredients into a mixing bowl.

  4. 4

    Mix well, but gently.

  5. 5

    Serve the salad one its own, with some toast or with a healthy soup.
