Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupyogurt
  2. 1/4 teaspoonsalt, plus more to taste
  3. 1 cupmung bean sprouts
  4. 1small or medium sized onion, finely chopped
  5. 1medium size tomato, finely chopped
  6. 1/2-1 teaspoonchaat masala (optional)
  7. 2 tbspcoriander chilli chatny (green chatny)
  8. 2 tbspdates and tumriand chatny (sweet chatny)

Steps

    First you have to

    Once the sprouts are ready, rinse them in water.

  3. 3

    Then either steam it or boil them till the sprouts are completely cooked

  4. 4

    You can even keep it half cooked if you want a crunchy taste.

  5. 5

    Then strain the cooked sprouts.

  6. 6

    Take 2 cups of steamed or boiled moong sprouts in a big bowl

  7. 7

    Add 1 small sized finely chopped onion and 1 medium sized finely chopped tomato.

  8. 8

    Then add ¼ teaspoon red chili powder (lal mirch powder) and ½ or 1 teaspoon chaat masala (optional). stir very well

  9. 9

    Lastly, season with yogurt and green chatny, sweet chatny as required. mix well.

  10. 10

    Serve tangy sprouts salad immediately.
