Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 4 poundspork tenderloin
  2. 1 cupOriginal BBQ Sauce
  3. 1 cupSweet Baby Ray's Hickory and Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce
  4. 1 tspvegatable oil
  5. 1/2 cupbeef broth
  6. 1/2apple cider vinegar
  7. 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  8. 1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
  9. 1 tbspchili powder
  10. 1 tbspground mustard
  11. 1large onion (cut in half)
  12. 1 1/2 tspdried thyme
  13. Buns (White, Whole Wheat, Ciabatta etc.)
  14. Butter (for buns)

Steps

  1. 1

    Pour vegatable oil in slow cooker. Place the pork roast into the slow cooker

  2. 2

    Pour in the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and beef broth

  3. 3

    In separate bowl, stir the brown sugar, ground mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic, and thyme. Mix into slow cooker

  4. 4

    Add halved onions

  5. 5

    Cover and cook on High until the roast shreds easily with a fork, 5 to 6 hours. Take onion out after 2-3 hours, and add Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce after 4-5 hours

  6. 6

    Remove the pork from the slow cooker, and shred the meat using two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker, and stir the pork making sure it is mixed with all the sauce

  7. 7

    Split buns, add butter, cheese, and some Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce, pulled pork and enjoy!
