Assemble all the required ingredients

Trim and portion the beef

In a bowl,place the portioned beef

Marinate the beef using salt,black pepper and soy sauce

Keep the marinated beef in the refrigerator,for 30minutes

Marinated meats are placed in the refrigerator to boost/enhance the marination

Remove the beef from the refrigerator after 30 minutes

Pass each portion of beef through flour

Meanwhile, heat the vegetable oil in a pan

Colour the beef in the hot vegetable oil until golden brown

In a separate pan,sweat the onions and corriander

The onions should be pinkish

Add the fried onions to the pan containing the beef

Add in the stock or water

The water should cover the beef barely

Cover it with a lid

Let it cook until the water reduces

Add in the beer,this helps in enhancing the flavour

Cover and cook until the beef is tender

Correct the seasoning

Serve while warm with a portion of braised rice
