Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlJowar ki phulli ya dhani as it is called in most of the places
  2. 1/2 tspSugar
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 2green chillies
  5. 1 tspFinely chopped coriander
  6. 2Finely chopped tomatoes
  7. as neededPeanuts with skin (soaked in water)
  8. 1 tspRoasted gram dal (daaliya)soaked in water
  9. 1 tspLemon juice

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the phulli thouroughly in a big container as it contains sand

  2. 2

    Soak it for say 10 mins and drain in a strainer

  3. 3

    Take a pan or kadhai and put some two spoonful oil in it.

  4. 4

    Put mustard seeds and jeera and let them crackle

  5. 5

    Add haldi powder and soaked peanuts and daaliya green chillies

  6. 6

    Saute for two mins

  7. 7

    Now add the phulli salt sugar tomatoes lemon juice and mix it well and cover with a lid for a minute

  8. 8

    Garnish with coriander

  9. 9

    And serve it along with dahi (yoghurt or curd). Optional

  10. 10

    Perfect snack to have in summer afternoon
