Ingredients

  • 2 kg 500 gmRaw mango-
  • 500 gmJaggery
  • 1 cupSugar
  • as per tasteSalt--
  • 1 cupKasundi
  • 150 gmOil-
  • -1 tspAniseeds --
  • 1Dry red chilli
  • 2 tspTurmeric--
  • 1 tspFried and grinded masala-or chat masala -
  • 2elaichi

Steps

  1. 1

    First wash mangoes and cut into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Then mix turmeric,salt and red chilli powder with mangoes and let it marrinate under sunrise for 6 hours.

  3. 3

    Then add oil in a pan and let it hot. Fry mangoes lightly. Keep aside. Add dry red chilli and aniseeds. Then add mangoes. Add turmeric. Cook a while.

  4. 4

    Adwd kasundi. After2minutes add jaggeri. Cook stiring on low flame for20 minutes.

    Let it cool and store in a air-tight jar.
