1 cupred lentil
1tomato chopped
1onion chopped
1 teaspoonpanch foron (Bengali five spices)
1dry red chilli
1-2green chillies
To tastesalt
As neededoil
1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder

Temper panch foron and whole red chilli

Saute onion slices well adding salt and turmeric powder

As the onion slices get golden add the tomatoes
4

Saute well till it become soft
5

Add daal and mix well adding water
6

Cover it till it gets properly cooked
7

Serve it with main course
