Boil milk in a thick bottomed pan. Add saffron to it.

Once milk starts bubbling, mash unsweetened khoya and mix it in the milk. Mix thouroughly and keep stirring.

Once rabdi starts thickening, add crushed elachi.

Blend cashews and almonds to small pieces and fry them in ghee.

Add ghee fried cashews and almonds and sugar to rabdi. Mix well and take off the stove. Let it cool.

Serve when it cools a little. It can also be served after refrigerating for an hour.
