Rice Kofta with Potatoes

Mix all the kofta ingredients together, shape into balls, and fry in oil.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes, and soak them in water with salt for 15 minutes.

To prepare the sauce, sauté the onion in ghee or butter until golden, then add the tomato paste and pureed tomatoes. Add the potatoes and let them cook, adding water if needed.

When the potatoes are about three-quarters cooked, add the kofta balls and let everything simmer together.

Add salt and pepper to taste.
