Not for the calorie conscious folks, but a warm cuppa of the traditional butter tea is a feast in the chilli winters or monsoon. Try it once, and you would love it!

Combine water, soda and tea leaves in a saucepan and brew to suit your taste

Take off heat once done
- 3
In another saucepan, melt butter in low heat (high heat would result in butter being overheated)

Strain the brewed tea into the melted butter
- 5
Add salt and milk next
- 6
Do not bring to boil. keep stirring on Low heat
- 7
Heat the tea to the desired temperature and transfer to serving cups/mugs
- 8
Enjoy while warm!
