An Indian spicy chicken preparation that can be relished with any kind of Indian breads or polau.

Marinate the chicken with yogurt, turmeric powder, salt, half of the ginger paste and half of the garlic paste, for at least one hour.

Heat some oil in a wok. Add the cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and saute it till the aroma comes out of it. Add the onions and a pinch of salt.

Fry till golden brown.

Add the rest of the ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder and saute it very well, till the oil separates.

Add the marinated chicken and mix it very well. Cover it with a lid.

After 10min, uncover it and saute it well. Add the tomato ketchup and black pepper powder and again mix it for a while.

If the chicken is still harder then add some lukewarm water and cover it for next 15min.

Uncover the wok and add the garam masala powder, coriander leaves and ghee.

As you get the desired consistency of the gravy, remove it from the flame and serve hot.
