Easy Marinated Octopus and Onion Easy Marinated Octopus and Onion
I created this with a refreshing taste as a side dish to eat between main dishes. My guests rave over this marinade. The web of skin between the octopus tentacles is too watery, so discard.Try this recipe with parboiled squid, ham, or smoked salmon.Grain vinegar tends to be a bit too strong, so I don't recommend it.For those who find the onion too sharp or strong-smelling, soak in water before Step 2. Pan-Fried, Not Deep Fried Italian Style? Octopus Karaage Pan-Fried, Not Deep Fried Italian Style? Octopus Karaage
A quick and easy drinking appetizer. It's not deep fried, so it's ready in no time.Leave the octopus pieces alone and be patient, and the surface will become crispy and firm.Be sure to pat dry the octopus well before coating it with katakuriko. You can use sliced cheese instead of the grated cheese.Serve as soon as it's cooked, while the pieces are crispy. Sautéed Potatoes and Octoupus Sautéed Potatoes and Octoupus
I wanted to use the freshly-picked spring potatoes that my parents sent me.Roll the potatoes as you cook, because they'll be more delicious if browned evenly! If you heat the cherry tomatoes well, they will be very sweet. You could also use boiled firefly squid (the insides are sooo tasty) or boiled scallops instead of octopus. Also use asparagus, string beans, or snap peans instead of snow peas! For serving 2. Recipe by haru cookpad.japan -
Easy and Delicious Octopus Rice Easy and Delicious Octopus Rice
I had leftover boiled octopus, so I used it to make this rice dish.If you soak the octopus in sake, it'll soften. Pour the octopus sake and the cooker. If you top the rice bowl with chopped leeks, mitsuba (Japanese parsley), or shiso leaves, it'll look and taste great (the picture is garnished with daikon radish sprouts). Savory Octopus Savory Octopus
I love the combination of mentsuyu and sesame oil. It's a great seasoning for mollusks and shellfish. For this recipe, it's better to use cheap imported octopus than expensive domestic ones as they are nice and soft. And also easier on the purse strings. Recipe by Tokurai cookpad.japan
