Ingredients

30 minutes
2 servings
  1. 2 cupsGobind bhog rice
  2. 200 grampaneer cut into cubes
  3. 1/4 cupcashew-raisins
  4. 1 handfulwhole garam masalas
  5. 1bay leaf
  6. To tastesalt and sugar
  7. As neededoil and ghee
  8. As neededyellow colour

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    At first boil water adding salt and whole garam masalas

  2. 2

    Add rice and boil till it is half done

  3. 3

    Drain the water and keep the rice aside

  4. 4

    Now heat oil and shallow fry the paneer,keep aside

  5. 5

    Heat ghee in a pan and add whole garam masalas and allow to crackle

  6. 6

    Add cashew-raisins and saute well for a minute

  7. 7

    Add the rice and combine well

  8. 8

    Add colour and mix it well

  9. 9

    Finally add sugar and sprinkle ghee

  10. 10

    The pilao is ready to serve
