Ingredients

  1. 6 slicesRye bread with seeds
  2. 1/2 poundsmoked sausage
  3. 1 cupsliced celery
  4. 1large onion diced
  5. 1 pintchicken broth
  6. 2large egg
  7. 1/2 teaspoonground sage
  8. 1/3 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  9. 1 teaspoonkosher salt
  10. 1/2 cupGolden raisins
  11. 1 tablespoonvegetable oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven 375 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. 2

    Tear the rye bread into small chunks. Spread it out on a baking pan. Put it in the oven till dried out.

    Slice the sausage into pieces that are manageable.

    Add oil and sausage to the pan and fry with the raisins, onions, and celery.

    Mix the toasted rye bread, eggs, chicken broth, spices, and sausage mixture. Add to a baking pan.

    Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
