  1. 15 ozRicotta Cheese
  2. 6 ozParmesan cheese
  3. 6 ozMozzarella cheese
  4. 1/4 cupparsley
  5. 1 tbsoregano
  6. 1 tspthyme
  7. 1/4 cupbasil
  8. 4garlic cloves, minced
  9. 1/2 tspkosher salt
  10. 1/2 tspground pepper
  11. 1/4 tspground red pepper
  12. 1egg, lightly beaten
  13. 32 oztomato sauce
  14. 1 lbsground beef
  15. 2 cupsfrozen mix vegetables

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. 2

    Ricotta mixture: combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, 1 cup Parmesan, egg, 2 tbs parsley, oregano, thyme, salt, black pepper.
    Pasta sauce: combine basil, red pepper, pasta sauce

  3. 3

    Brown ground beef and drain.

  4. 4

    Add garlic to beef and stir for another 1 or 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add pasta sauce to beef and simmer untill sauce starta to boil. Turn off stove.

  6. 6

    Grease 9x13 glass or ceramic pan. Spread 1/2 cup pasta sauce.

  7. 7

    Add 3 lasagna over sauce, add 2/3 cup Ricotta mix, spread 2/3 cup vegetables mix, top with 3/4 cup pasta sauce. Repeat 2x

  8. 8

    Top evenly remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

  9. 9

    Cover with foil and bake at 375° for 40 minutes.

    Preheat broiler to high. (Keep lasagna in oven).

  11. 11

    Remove foil and broil lasagna for 2 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
