Ingredients

  • 1 cupToor dal/arhar dal -
  • 2 tbspGrated mango -
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder -
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder -
  • 1Chopped tomato -
  • 1Chopped green chilli -
  • 8 - 10Curry leaves
  • 1Chopped onion -
  • 2Whole red chilli -
  • 4Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbspClarified butter -
  • to tasteSalt -

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Pressure cook the arhar dal/toor dal with salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,tomato,grated mango and two cup of water.

  2. 2

    After two whistle switch off the flame.

  3. 3

    Heat clarified butter in a pan,add whole red chilli to crackle,now add onion,garlic cloves and curry leaves and saute for 2 - 3 mins.

  4. 4

    Add cooked toor dal in a pan and cook for two to three mins.

  5. 5

    Serve hot
