Pumpkin halwaA very yummylicious and tasty halwa

Peel and chop pumpkin into small cubes

Heat the ghee in pressure cooker

Add pumpkin pieces in it and saute for about 8-10 minutes till they start releasing water from sides on a low flame.

Add water and stir again.

Cover the pressure cooker and cook pumpkin for 4-5 whistles

After that pumpkin pieces will become completely soft and of mashable consistency.

Then when pumpkin pieces have cooked well then open the lid and again place the pressure cooker on heat and on simmer.

After 1-2 minutes add sugar, cardamom powder

Cook the mixture stirring often till it thickens.

Water should be completely reduced in halwa and it’s consistency should be like that of pumpkin purée.

Add melon seeds,and dry fruits and cook halwa for 1-3 minutes more.

Serve pumpkin halwa warm.
