Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 bunchturnip
  • 1 bunchmustard
  • 1 bunchcollard greens
  • 1 bunchkale
  • 1ham hock are your choice of meat
  • 6 cupswater
  • 1/4 cupcooking oil
  • 1/2 Tbspcayenne pepper

  1. 1

    Pick each bunch of green discarded any yellow one

  2. 2

    Place them in a sink of cold water add a half cup of table salt this will remove dirt and bugs move greens up and down this remove all dirt .

  3. 3

    In a pot, add your water and ham hock and seasonings. Let boil until meat starts to get tender then add your greens. Greens will wilt.

  4. 4

    Cover with top and cook for 25 minutes. Add your oil and cook for 15 more min. Some times if greens are tough, add a pinch of soda.
