Ingredients

  1. 2 cupbesan (chikpeaflour)
  2. 1coriander bunch
  3. 2 tbspMirchi ka Thecha(mixture of greenchillies, ginger,garlic, cummin and salt)
  4. 1 tsproasted sesame seeds
  5. 1/4 tbspturmeric powder
  6. 1 tbspcummin and coriander Powder
  7. Handfulroasted groundnuts powder
  8. 1 tbspoil
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 2 tbspgrated fresh coconut
  11. 2-3 tbspoil for shallow frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop coriander.

  2. 2

    In a bowl mix all the ingredients except coconut.

  3. 3

    Add water and make a thick paste.

  4. 4

    Grease the mould.

  5. 5

    Transfer the batter into mould and steam it for 15-20 minutes.

  6. 6

    Check with knife or tooth pick, if it's come out clean means it's done.

  7. 7

    Let it cool completely then cut into desired shape.

  8. 8

    Deep fry or shallow fry.(I have shallow fried)

  9. 9

    Take it out on kitchen towel.

  10. 10

    While serving sprinkle grated coconut and garnish with coriander leaves.
