12English muffins
12cooked sausage rounds
24 slicesAmerican cheese

Cut open your English muffins and lay bottom portion on your baking sheet.

Lay one slice of cheese on each muffin bottom.

Lay cooked sausage round on top of cheese. It is ok if the sausage is not currently warm.

Add another slice of cheese on top of sausage.

Put the other half of each muffin on top of the cheese
6

Bake at 350 in preheated oven until cheese has melted and internal temperature has reached at least 140.
